Stani Memorial College of Engineering and Technology is located in Phagi which is about 36kms from Jaipur city on Diggi-Malpura state highway. It is surrounded by lush green agriculture fields, which makes its environment pollution free and provides plenty of fresh air all the time.

SMCET is located at about on 40 km from Jaipur on State Highway No. 12 on Jaipur-Phagi-Malpura, and is easily accessible. The college has a sprawling campus spread over an area of 48 acres, with lush green surroundings, play fields, lake and lawns in the background of majestic college buildings. It has acquired a status of self-contained mini educational township. The main aim of developing SMCET in a rural campus is to develop full-fledged High-tech Global Level Institute with round the clock internet facility through own VSAT and access to National and International Technical Institute's Library through DELNET.

The college has open air theatre, Amphi theatre, vast play grounds for games and sports, Gymnasium, Swimming Pool, Horse Riding and Boating in the mini lake. The life in the campus is very lively and charmful. The area is all round being developed as green garden. In the remote area guest house, shopping complex and other facilities have been developed. These facilities are not possible in the metro/urban area on account of limitations of space.

The institution has been networking with various European institutions in its endeavor to give a global exposure of technology to its students. This effort of the college is being supplemented under an International Student Faculty exchange program supported by the European Union. Recently, couple of students of SMCET & faculty members visited Amsterdam (Holland) and Helsinki in Finland to attend the International Seminar. The college is also in the process of negotiation with several universities and institutions for networking ,in United States of America & Canada. More frequent exchange programs are likely to be follow in future.

Dr. Thomas Cangan a known educationist of Rajasthan and a visiting Professor of Management to various institution in India, Europe, USA and Australia is the main promoter of the Stani Memorial College of Engineering & Technology. IIRM and its net work of institutions have been promoted by Dr. Cangan. These institution are known for excellence in education and international networking. Dr. Cangan is supported by an excellent team of experts such as Prof. Vasu Deo (Former Professor of Civil Engineering, MREC, Jaipur), who is currently Principal of SMCET. He has a research work at his credit in National & International Journals and he is Sr. Technical Expert in All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and National Board of Accreditation Government of India, Delhi. He has served various capacities in Public Services Commissions, Universities and other leading bodies.
