Training and Placement

SMCET is equally concerned about the career prospects of its students.It has,therefore,established a seperate "Training and Placement Department" to take care of the interest of its students.This responsibility has been entrusted to Professor Deepak Shrimali, Incharge Training & Placement,who possesses a long industralial and teaching experience.He is assisted by a Training & Placement Officer who take cares up these activities on full time activities basis.

Students are encouraged to go oneducational tours,visit industrial fairs and to attend industry conferences and seminars.This way the students get opportunity to interact with leading personalities of industries and service sector,which brings clarity and maturity in their professional thinking and way of life.

SMCET lays emphasis on acquisition and development of transferable skills, which makes its engineering students even more employable.Skill developed include problem-solving,working with other in a team,communication and personal effectiveness.
