At Stani Memorial College of Engineering and Technology (SMCET), we are committed to ensuring transparency, fairness, and complete satisfaction for all applicants and stakeholders. All matters related to cancellation and refund are governed in accordance with the guidelines issued by University Grants Commission (UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), as amended from time to time. The institute ensures transparency, fairness, and compliance with statutory norms.

In case of dissatisfaction from our services, clients have the liberty to cancel their projects and request a refund from us. Our Policy for the cancellation and refund will be as follows:

General Policy

SMCET strives to deliver high-quality academic and administrative services. In case of any dissatisfaction, requests for cancellation and refund will be considered based on genuine and verifiable reasons, in accordance with institutional norms and applicable regulatory guidelines. Applicants are advised to carefully review all terms and conditions before making any payment.

Cancellation Policy

Requests for cancellation must be submitted through the official channel via written application/email to the institute.

Cancellation requests will be processed only after proper verification of the request and supporting documents (if required).

Requests received within the stipulated timeline will be considered for the current academic session.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be considered in cases where the request is found valid and justified after due verification.

The refund amount, if applicable, will be processed as per institute norms and may be subject to administrative deductions.

No refund may be applicable once academic activities have been substantially utilized, except in exceptional cases as decided by the institute.

Refunds will be initiated through the original mode of payment:

Payments made via credit/debit card will be refunded to the same card.

Payments made through online gateways/bank transfer will be credited back to the respective account.
