Debate on Exam - परीक्षा पे चर्चा

Ministry of Education is annually organizing the event परीक्षा पे चर्चा (Debate on Exam) since 2018 with the objective to create a stress-free atmosphere for youngsters.

Students of SMCET virtually attended the event in which Hon'ble Prime Minister of India connected with dynamic youth, teachers and parents from across the country, understood their challenges and encouraged them to take exams in a relaxed and stress-free manner.

FDP on Research Funding Opportunities in Engineering Field across the Globe

Stani Memorial College of Engineering and Technology, Jaipur successfully organized two Days Online Faculty Development Programme on Research Funding Opportunities in Engineering Field across the Globe.

There are total 198 numbers of faculty members, researchers and students from PAN India registered themselves for the faculty development programme.

Educational Tour to DB Corp Ltd., Shivdaspura, Jaipur

As per Rajasthan Technical University, Kota industrial visits are compulsory for the students of B. Tech course. The Industrial visits create the interest and understanding of industrial working and technical exposure to the engineering students.

Keeping the above motive in mind, an educational tour was organized by the college for the students of B Tech I year and II Year (all branches) to Dainik Bhaskar Printing Plant, Shivdaspura.

Details of the visit are as under:

Place to visit         : Dainik Bhaskar Printing Plant, Shivdaspura

 

1. As per the scheduled time, the students and faculty members reported to Dainik Bhaskar Printing Plant, Shivdaspura.
2. Students were collected at the main entrance of the plant. Group of student was coordinated by the technical members of the plant.
3. Students visited the following sections:
   
   I Section: The students started with the coloring section where they learnt about the development of different colors to print on paper.
   
   II Section: The technical team of plant explained the students about the design software to set the News as per paper requirements and also how to develop positive & negative plates for news paper.

PROGRAMME ON COMPUTER VISION AND PATTREN RECOGNIGATION

Department of Computer Engineering, Stani Memorial College of Engineering and Technology, in collaboration with Rajasthan Technical University, Kota under TEQIP-III RTU(ATU) successfully organised Online Faculty Development Program on Computer Vision and Pattren Recognigation from 18th December -22nd  December 2020.

This event had 107 registrations from across the Country. The session began with an inaugural ceremony in which organizing secretary welcomed all the speakers, guests and participants

In technical sessions, eminent scientific persons from premier institutes of India presented their talk covering different aspects of Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition.

6th Thought Leadership Lecture Series at FMS-IRM

Thought Leadership Lecture Award - 2018 was organised in remembrance of Founder President Dr. Thomas Cangan on his 12th Punyatithi at Deepsmiriti Auditorium, Mansarovar, Jaipur. 

Award was presented to Dr. Tessy Thomas, Director General Aeronautical Systems & the former Project Director for Agni-IV Missile in Defence Research & Development Organisation. She is known as the 'Missile Woman' of India by Mr. Stany Thomas Cangan.

FMS-IRM organizes Thought Leadership Lecture series with the participation of top notch business leaders and social thinkers for the benefit of its young managers. This would help the managers- in- making to upscale their thinking and perspectives on business and development sectors and to reach out to a global canvas. As a sign of its social commitment and new age thinking, in the year 2012, FMS-IRM has instituted a Global Business Leadership award in the name of its founder Dr. Thomas Cangan.
